The fox and the grapes
One day a hungry fox was walking along a road when he saw some beautiful bunches of grapes. They were hanging over a high wall. He stopped to look at them because they were very good to eat.
As the grapes were very high up, the fox had to stand on his hind legs and put his front paws on the wall. Even tough, he wasnt able to reach the grapes because they were still too far away.
Since the fox wanted to eat the grapes very much, he had to jump up as high as he could. He jumped higher and higher. His nose sometimes even touched a grape, but he could not bite one off.
The fox kept on jumping until he got exhausted. After a while, he stopped jumping and walked away with his nose in the air.
I really dont want those grapes, he said. They looked ripe, but now I know they are very sour.
