De acordo com o que já foi estudado, a compreensão de um texto envolve o ato de perceber um problema, uma dedução a respeito de um fato, uma história, um provérbio, uma situação, etc. Muitas vezes, o leitor precisa ser capaz de detectar pequenas sutilezas de linguagem, como a comicidade, por exemplo, para entender uma mensagem.
